General Information

Weather requirements

The balloon can only take off if the wind on the ground is weak (max. 5 metres/second), the clouds are at minimum height of a few hundred metres, and there is no rain. In summer, because of upward air currents, flights can only take place in the morning (four hours from the sunrise) or in the evening. In winter, flights can also take place during daytime.

Flying will normally be at an altitude of 100-500 metres, though we can also go higher. A flight takes about an hour and the price includes sparkling wine (part and parcel of hot-air ballooning). After the flight we'll take you back to the take-off site.

No special equipment is needed though in winter it is advisable to wear proper winter shoes. After all, at our normal flying altitudes the temperature is the same as on the ground. Moreover, you do not feel any wind because the balloon is carried by it. A flight plus preparations and transportation takes about three hours.
